I live in sunny Florida, a place I love- though I spent seven years in California during my twenties and still miss it. 

My teaching journey began at age 13, when I coached rhythmic gymnastics. What started as a love for athletic training grew into a lifelong passion for coaching, teaching, and eventually, helping students build strong reading skills.

Outside of teaching, I enjoy keeping my four cats happy, reading, visiting tea rooms, and most recently, returning to gymnastics through an adult class.
